Charm Bracelets For Your Charm Collections

by Shiran Cohen

Since everyone has their own personal favorites when it comes to jewelry styles is can be a bit intimidating looking through collections of charm bracelets and trying to pick the right one. In reality most charm bracelets will do very well as a fashion accessory since it really is the charm collection that is the focus of the item, not necessarily the bracelet itself.

Kids are generally much easier to by charm bracelets for because sizing is not such a concern. Buying a slightly larger or small adult sized bracelet will give the option to have the child grow into the bracelet. Adult sized charm bracelets generally range from six to about nine inches in length but keep in mind these types of bracelets should not be worn tight to the wrist.

Triple links on charm bracelets provide the maximum areas to attach a variety of different charms. Double and single link bracelets are also highly popular and very beautiful. The heavier links are naturally stronger while the more elegant styles are great for formal occasions.

Different styles of links are also possible. Links can be flat and sit flush against the skin or they can be more three dimensional in shape and provide an elevated profile when placed on the skin. Either option will look wonderful with any type of charms however the more areas to attach charms the more options there are for designing the charm bracelet and adding charms.

Fancy links can add a touch of extra pizzazz to a charm bracelet. Heart shaped links are very popular and very feminine in appearance while rope and bead style bracelets are also unique and different from the ordinary. Some people may only want a few charms on the bracelet so a larger, flatter link may be more appealing for this style of bracelet.

Colors of metal or types of metal used in charm bracelets are typically white gold, sterling silver, yellow gold or a combination of at least two. White and yellow gold bracelets or gold and silver bracelets provide a striking piece that can be combined with any type of charm.

Wearing one or more charm bracelets with other bracelets is very trendy. If you are selecting a second style of charm bracelet consider something that matches your current bracelet but is not exactly identical. This will allow you to wear both at the same time or switch between your collections of charms with each of the charm bracelets.

Day wear charm bracelets and those worn for evening outings can be very different, depending on your particular style and taste. Charm bracelets rather than just one bracelet also provides your friends and family with lots of ideas for gifts, no matter how large your charm collection may be.

A Historical Look At Diamond Jewellery And Diamonds

by Rich Keys

For many years diamonds have been an obsession of people all across the world. The beauty and value of diamonds is appreciated more than any other gem. They are regarded as the most popular stone used in engagement and wedding rings and are a symbol of undying love.

Diamonds are also a favorite in other jewelry as well. From diamond earrings to diamond bracelets to diamond necklaces, there are endless possibilities in having stunningly beautiful jewelry. What is it that is so unique about diamonds?

Gemologists have found that no two diamonds are the same. This means that each and every diamond has it’s own beautiful design. The variety in cut and color of each individual diamond gives each it’s own special appearance. The shine and brilliance of diamonds make them truly one of nature’s most prized creations.

Diamonds were first discovered many years ago. It is believed they were found in India around 800 B.C. Since that day people have been mesmerized by their beauty. For many years only royalty wore diamonds to symbolize their strength. Now common people enjoy wearing diamonds every day. The value of diamonds is rated by their quality. There are different grades of diamonds and this also determines their worth. Diamonds are classified according to what is called the 4 Cs grading system. This system will determine how much you will pay to buy your precious diamond. The 4 Cs stand for Carat Weight, Clarity, Color, and Cut.

The value of diamonds and other gemstones is partly determined by how many carats each one weighs. A large carat usually will result in a more expensive stone than a smaller carat. Every carat is divided into one hundred points; therefore, a diamond weighing fifty points would be considered a 1/2 carat diamond.

Clarity is basically how crystal clear the diamond is. Blemishes can be found in diamonds that were discovered near other types of rock or minerals. Sometimes the other minerals or rock can cause fragments to be transferred onto the actual diamond. The fewer blemishes a diamond has the higher its clarity and value will be.

Diamonds are commonly believed to be clear but this is not true. Diamond color can range from clear, yellow and even black. Clear diamonds are generally more valuable than ones with color, but this is not always the case. The most valuable diamond in the world is the Hope Diamond and it is a black diamond.

The Cut is also one of the qualities of the 4C grading system. It reflects how much brilliance and sparkle has. Cuts of diamonds vary, some are round, marquise, and princess cut stones. However, the round cut is the most popular. The way the diamond is cut, reflects how shiny and reflective it will be. This increases it beauty, making diamonds extremely popular all over the world.

Some people wear them simply for their beauty and some feel they also play a part in increasing their social status when wearing them. For whatever reason, diamonds have been a favorite gemstone for both men and women for many decades now. Most likely this will continue on for years to come. As long as there are beautiful diamonds, there will be people who love them.

Tiffany Necklaces, A Timeless Gift

by Ms. Zuo Yan Peng

The Tiffany name has always been synonymous with class and style. The Tiffany Company was started by Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1837 with partner John B. Young. Tiffany and Young opened on Broadway in New York City. When they first opened their doors, they sold mostly stationary and other trinkets. Their first day sales totaled just under $5. In 1853, Young left the picture and Charles changed the name to Tiffany & Co., starting the legend. Tiffany necklaces were yet to be part of the scenery, but that would soon change.

Tiffany has always offered only the finest goods to consumers, never falling victim to price wars or falling quality. Whenever you present a woman with one of Tiffany’s trademark blue boxes, you’ll get smiles and tears. Forever the mark of class and taste, there is always something good to be found inside a Tiffany box. The sterling silver jewels that Tiffany sells have the highest level of pure silver of any other in the country.

Tiffany jewelry has remained at the top of every girl’s wish list, year after year. Whether you prefer their sterling silver line or their divine gold pieces, there’s something for everyone at Tiffany. Tiffany still produces their most popular and biggest selling items like the silver Tiffany stamped tag. Tiffany necklaces and pendants come in a variety of styles today.

Of all the Tiffany jewels, Tiffany necklaces remain at the top of their sales charts. Necklaces and pendants designed by some of the top experts like Frank Ghery, Paloma Picasso and Elsa Peretti bring certain flair to the Tiffany necklace line that no other can match. Always keeping an eye on the latest trends, Tiffany never sacrifices quality and class. Tiffany necklaces and jewels are the most widely counterfeited jewels in the country. Several recent crackdowns in New York city alone yielded over 5 million dollars worth of Tiffany replica jewels.

The Elsa Peretti Tiffany necklace line consists mostly of interlinked shapes. In gold, white gold and silver, the collection features many dainty, feminine pieces. Hearts with rounded corners are gently locked together, in sets of two or three. Other pieces in the line are circles hooked together. This seems to be the general theme of her line. Many of the pendants have diamonds embedded in them, as well. Every taste can find what it loves at Tiffany.

Paloma Picasso’s collection offers a bit more for those looking for a modern look. Geometric inspired webs and drops highlight the collection. These pieces seem to be geared more to the younger generation and to be worn with more casual attire. Many of the pendants display a tear dropped shape amethyst, citrine or quartz stone. These pieces suit tastes from young to old, but mostly the chic and fashion inspired crowd.

Famous architect Frank Ghery has a line of Tiffany necklaces that cater to the more the modern and retro chic taste. The torque line is particularly beautiful with pieces that have sleek lines and angles much like Ghery’s buildings. Of course, Tiffany also sells a beautiful new line called the Tiffany keys line. Ornamental keys are hung from 18″ Tiffany chains, some with diamonds and jewels, others simply stated without.

The Tiffany & Co. Necklaces offer consumers a wide range of styles to suit any taste. Rest assured that whatever you choose from the Tiffany necklace line, you’re going with class. Tiffany & Co. Necklaces cost between $250 and $5000. If you want personalization, it is available on request. Tiffany & Co. Again gives something to the public that stands for fine taste and luxury with their newest necklace line.

Microsoft MCSA Support Courses Clarified

by Jason Kendall

Should you want a future in network support then the Microsoft MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) course is the ideal one for you. Whether you want to get into IT or are experienced already but need to formalise your skills, a range of courses exist to fit either requirement. Each option requires a specific course, so pay attention that you’re on the right training programme when making a start. Identify a training provider that’s happy to take the time to get to know you, and what you’d like to do, and can give you enough information to make your choice.

Of all the important things to consider, one of the most essential is always proper direct-access 24×7 support from dedicated instructors and mentors. Far too often we see trainers who only provide office hours (or extended office hours) support. Beware of institutions which use ‘out-of-hours’ call-centres – with your call-back scheduled for standard office hours. It’s not a lot of help when you’ve got study issues and need an answer now.

It’s possible to find professional companies which recommend and use direct-access support at all times – at any time of day or night. If you opt for less than 24×7 support, you’ll very quickly realise that you’ve made a mistake. You might not want to use the service during late nights, but what about weekends, late evenings or early mornings.

We can all agree: There’s no such thing as individual job security now; there’s only industry or sector security – a company will let anyone go when it meets the business’ business interests. Security can now only exist through a rapidly increasing market, pushed forward by work-skills shortages. This shortage creates the right environment for a higher level of market-security – a far better situation.

Offering the computing industry for instance, the most recent e-Skills survey brought to light major skills shortages in the United Kingdom around the 26 percent mark. Put directly, we only have the national capacity to fill three out of each 4 job positions in the computing industry. Attaining full commercial computing exams is correspondingly a ‘Fast Track’ to a long-term and pleasing profession. Actually, retraining in Information Technology throughout the next year or two is probably the safest career move you’ll ever make.

Kick out a salesperson who offers any particular course without an in-depth conversation to better understand your current abilities and also your experience level. They should be able to select from a generous choice of training products from which they could give you a program that suits you.. Often, the level to start at for someone with a little experience is often massively different to someone just starting out. Consider starting with user-skills and software training first. Beginning there can make the learning curve a a little easier.

If you’re like many of the students we talk to then you’re a practical sort of person – a ‘hands-on’ personality type. If you’re anything like us, the unfortunate chore of reading reference guides is something you’ll force on yourself if you absolutely have to, but you really wouldn’t enjoy it. So look for on-screen interactive learning packages if you’d really rather not use books. Years of research and study has constantly verified that getting into our studies physically, is far more likely to produce long-lasting memories.

Find a course where you’re provided with an array of CD or DVD ROM’s – you’ll be learning from instructor videos and demo’s, and then have the opportunity to practice your skills in interactive lab’s. It makes sense to see some examples of the kind of training materials you’ll be using before you purchase a course. The minimum you should expect would be instructor demonstrations, video tutorials and a variety of audio-visual and interactive sections.

Avoid training that is purely online. Always choose CD or DVD based study materials where possible, as you need to be able to use them whenever it’s convenient for you – it’s not wise to be held hostage to your internet connection always being ‘up’ and available.

Often, students don’t think to check on something that can make a profound difference to their results – the way the company segments the courseware sections, and into how many parts. Most companies will sell you a program typically taking 1-3 years, and send out each piece as you complete each exam. Sounds reasonable? Well consider these facts: Often, the staged breakdown prescribed by the provider doesn’t suit you. What if you find it hard to complete all the modules within the time limits imposed?

Ideally, you’d get ALL the training materials right at the beginning – meaning you’ll have all of them to come back to in the future – at any time you choose. This allows a variation in the order that you complete each objective where a more intuitive path can be found.

Off-Page’ Search Engine Optimisation – Thoughts

by Jason Kendall

We’ve already looked at the basics of Search Engine Optimisation, and referred to On-Page SEO. However, what really matters is off-page SEO. Imagine it as a ‘voting’ system. Site A gives a link (vote) to site B. They’re suggesting the site is worth looking at.

Two main features make up the link to your website. The web address (in other words the actual URL) of the targeted page. And additionally the anchor text that’s been highlighted to click on. The particular page with that anchor text then receives one vote. i.e. one vote towards this site appearing higher up in the natural listings when we type that phrase in the search box.

This is the way it works. The anchor text and page pointed to are irrevocably tied together. You have to have anchor text to make your vote. The Search Engines use the anchor text as an explanation of what the page is all about. This is vital to understand: Your website’s search terms are totally controlled by its anchor texts.

Hence, a link saying “click here for…” isn’t a good idea. In this example, we created a vote for the phrase ‘Click HERE’. Who would choose to search for Click Here? Not a soul!

That’s the reason the anchor text must be right. As the keyword phrases you will be rated for depend on it. And by the way, if you DO Google “Click Here” you will always find the Adobe Reader download site at the top. Did they SEO that term? Definitely not. But so many sites have a ‘Click HERE to download Adobe Reader’ link on them, that they’re number one for that phrase.

In other words, the SE’s use the anchor text phrase to cast a vote for a page. It is the logical thing to do. SE’s try to look for relevancy in the same way a real person would. In several ways it doesn’t matter what your page is about. You’ll rank for the terms in the anchor text phrases that point to you. That is the vote that’s cast.

Of course, it’s not quite as simple as that… The wording on a page being pointed at and its title are taken into account by the Search Engines. And many more factors too. For example; how spread-out and relevant the sites are that are linking to you.

In essence though, a wealth of back links is the most significant element of Search Engine Optimisation. And back links with the right anchor texts that come from lots of different websites. The quality of a site counts too… A back-link from Microsoft.com or Adobe.com would be worth a lot more than a back-link from a local hardware store!

Picking the keyword phrases that you want to rate for is an art in itself. (Research your competitors well before you plump for yours.) Fundamentally though: What would a customer of yours type in the search box in order to find your product or service? Find the answer to that, and you’ve got your keywords.

Interesting answers often come up when you do your researches and tests. It’s so often the case that the phrase people expect is NOT what produces the most results. We all have different ways of expressing ourselves. Imagine you’re intent on sleeping better. You might think to search for ‘comfortable bed’. Whilst the line GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP could be used by someone else.

Would you really want to trust your marketing to vague ideas and feelings about what might be typed in? A lot of measuring, testing and research of each term is of vital importance. They are absolutely key to the volume of enquiries and sales you can make via the web. An analogy could be drawn with a listing in the Yellow Pages. As a Dentist, you won’t get much business if you’re listed as a Plumber! It’s just as important to be listed for the right terms online. SEO takes care of all that.

The History Of Tag Heuer

by Janthine Young

Synonymous with elegance, luxury and design, a Tag Heuer watch makes a welcome addition to anyone’s accessory collection. Established back in 1860, under the name Heuer, the company has continued to adorn the wrists of the rich and famous for many years.

The brand’s ties to the sporting world are clear. This is no better indicated than by taking a glance through their signature lines; Aquaracer, Carrera, Formula One, Grand Carrera, Link and Monaco. Such a relationship is further underscored by close ties with sporting heroes such as Tiger Woods and Lewis Hamilton.

Whatever model of Tag Heuer watch is purchased though; from the eighteen thousand dollar Tag Heuer Monaco 360 LS concept, right down to the more affordable 1500 series, you can be assured of precise engineering.

With water resistance and quartz movements as standard (generally – see below), and a reliance on sapphire crystals, the level of workmanship today is as high as it has ever been.

Such an exacting approach to watch design has been the standard by which Tag have set their own high standards. More than this though, they have been pioneers in the industry and continue to do so today.

Tag Heuer have not rested on their laurels however; far from it in fact and such innovations continue; with the recent stock addition of the Monaco V4 being driven by belts, rather than geared quartz movement, and the first wrist worn mechanical watch to show time to 1/100th of a second in the shape of the Carrera Calibre.

Whether male or female, a Tag Heuer watch makes for a fantastic gift that is long to be cherished and cared for. And of course, you will always be in only the very best of company; remaining as they do the number one choice for celebrities, sport-stars and even US Presidents.

Diamonds – Choosing And Selecting Diamonds

by Carol Bell

Everybody has heard others say that diamonds are a girl’s best pals and also that diamonds are forever. Such easy slogans only highlight the sheer beauty and magnificence of these shining rocks, and it wouldn’t surprise any one to learn that these valuable gemstones are sure to have once been owned at least singly by a great number of people. That clearly means that given their high popularity, one must know what sort of gemstone one should buy as the options are numerous as they are found in a great number of configurations and sizes.

You will be sure to find a few methods that will show you how to select your diamonds, and a good starting point in this direction is to know the type of jewelry that will be best suited to hold such a gemstone. By firstly deciding on the type of jewelry you can determine other factors such as size, quality and also shape. Thus, for your engagement ring you would be more particular about the stones quality as compared to when buying a bracelet that has many stones on it.

Another significant factor to think about is your chosen style per the jewellery you’re going to buy, meaning having a selected style that would range between modest styled jewellery to flashy ones. And, when you have selected the particular style of jewellery that you need to wear, you can select from different items like rings, bracelets and earrings and also consider their cost.

You will also have to choose whether you need to buy drab or coloured diamonds. To establish that the wiser choice is for you, you want to consider a couple of things like the incontrovertible fact that coloured diamonds generally are far more dear and they are also terribly unique as compared to clear diamonds.

So, if you actually need a diamond that sticks out from the rest and is also original, your decision certainly would a coloured diamond. And, before purchasing your diamonds it’s also mandatory that you know the company from which you are purchasing them. Select a corporation that is awfully well informed about the gemstones. You have to also make sure that the company that is selling you the diamonds has a loyal gem purchasing policy and that it follows the right purchasing policies so that you know you’ll be getting only top quality diamonds from them. This should make sure that you can purchase your diamonds in total confidence that they are of high quality and will also be reasonable too.
